Shimon & Shifra have been in the catering/hospitality industry for over 35 years to date. They owned 4 successful restaurants in Melbourne over their years in the business. From pizza shops, to Middle Eastern felafel, Chinese dishes to Event catering, Shimon and Shifra have years of experience in Kosher Banqueting. They present you with - Pesach at Kimberley Gardens.
HEAD CHEF - DAVID HARROSH
Showcasing the depth of his culinary talents, David worked as the Head Chef at the Southern Cross hotel for 18 years, a Private Chef for the King of Nauru, worked internationally in Hong Kong and London and has catered for functions of up to 800 guests.
Highly regarded by his colleagues, David has catered for glittering occasions attended by Prince Charles and Princess Diana, Presidents and Prime ministers and celebrities.
In addition to his 45 years experience and lauded talent, David has a green thumb, always growing his own herbs, spices and vegetables. His humor endears him to everyone, always with a joke up his sleeve - he is the fire in the kitchen!
CHEF PETER WING-WONG:
Renowned for his masterful grasp of classic Chinese cuisine and possessing an instinctive flair for innovation and creativity, Peter is Kimberley Garden's oriental style chef. Multi talented, coupled with years of experience, Peter is focused, diligent and worldy. A real asset to the kitchen!
SHAINA & MICHAEL HELPER
Both from hospitality and catering backgrounds, Shaina and Michael have commenced their role of General Managers, here are Kimberley Gardens. Breathing new life into the business, Shaina co-ordinates the Events, and Michael, the a la carte restaurant. Over the Pesach period, should you need anything at all, Shaina and Michael are the people to see!
CHEF - TONY FISHER
Kimberley Garden's acclaimed chef Tony Fisher's career has taken him internationally. From function banqueting in Israel, owning a Melbourne based restaurant and working across Switzerland, Tony brings experience and culture to the kitchen.
This South African born chef - thrives on a high paced kitchen. His reputation proceeds him, the Meat Griller - steaks and meats made to perfection.
FLOOR MANAGER - JAY
Having studied at the Cordon Bleu, Jay has been in the hospitality industry for 25 years. His career has taken him from 5 Star Banqueting, to private waitering events, a la carte restaurants and now at Kimberley Garden's for the last 12 years. Jay, always with a smile, knows kosher and knows good service.
